Electrician, Industrial maintenance (Permanent)

Connect Appointments are recruiting a Senior Electrician to join our manufacturing client within the Dundee and Angus area . This is a full-time permanent position , paid at £50,000 per annum, where we have two shifts on offer: OPTION 1: Working Monday to Friday with rotating weekly shifts across days, backs and nights. There will also be an on-call arrangement between midnight Friday to midnight Sunday – so you will be on call one weekend in every five. OPTION 2: Working 4-on 4-off across days and nights (X2 days from 8am to 8pm & X2 nights from 8pm to 8am). Working as a Senior Electrician , your duties will include: Liaison with shift engineers to ensure work is done Organising work to be done on a shift-by-shift basis – prioritising where required Installation of plant and machinery Conducting preventative maintenance work Dealing with breakdowns (troubleshooting, repairing, reporting) Carrying out portable appliance testing Ensuring Health & Safety at all costs To be successful in this Senior Electrician role , you’ll be a time served engineer (either mechanical or electrical) and educated to a HNC/C&G level.
