Business Continuity Analyst

City of London | Hybrid Working

We are seeking a Business Continuity Analyst to join a successful and growing insurance organisation based in the City of London. You’ll become part of a collaborative Business Continuity team working closely with colleagues in the USA, playing a key role in safeguarding employees, clients, and operations during unexpected disruptions.

The Role

As a Business Continuity Analyst, you will support the development and execution of strategies that ensure operational resilience across the organisation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the development, maintenance, and execution of business continuity documentation, including Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and risk assessments
  • Supporting business recovery, crisis management, and disaster recovery planning
  • Promoting awareness of business continuity frameworks, standards, and initiatives across the business
  • Coordinating and supporting business continuity exercises and testing (including mass notification systems)
  • Providing hands-on support during live incidents and disruption events
  • Delivering and tracking training for local crisis management teams and new joiners

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment:

  • Proven experience in a Business Continuity Management (BCM) or related role
  • Familiarity with crisis/incident management and IT Disaster Recovery (DR)
  • Experience with mass notification tools (e.g. AlertFind, Send Word Now, Everbridge)
  • Experience with BCM software (e.g. Fusion, Cobalt, LDRPS) and Power BI is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of BCM standards and frameworks
  • CBCP certification is advantageous
