Site Manager / Project Manager – Fit Out & Refurbishment

Yorkshire / North (with wider travel as required)

I’m working with a well-established design & build / fit-out delivery team who are looking to bring in an experienced Project Manager to oversee a varied portfolio of commercial office fit-out and refurbishment schemes.

This is a client-facing role suited to someone comfortable operating across the full project lifecycle — from early engagement and planning through to delivery and handover — while also playing a part in maintaining and developing key client relationships.

• The RoleYou’ll be responsible for managing multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
• Leading projects from pre-construction through to completion
• Managing day-to-day site and operational activity across live schemes
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal delivery teams
• Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
• Driving programme, commercial performance, and delivery targets
• Supporting the wider team in identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with H&S and company procedures at all stages

About You

• This role will suit someone who has operated in a fast-paced, client-driven fit-out environment and can confidently manage multiple stakeholders.Background in commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
• Recognised qualification in project management or construction-related discipline
• Proven experience managing projects end-to-end
• Strong client-facing experience, including account management
• Ability to work in a results-driven, high-pressure environment
• Confident decision-maker who can bring clarity and direction on site
• Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
• Good working knowledge of project management systems and delivery processes
• Technical understanding of interior finishes, construction methods, and compliance standards
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing tight programmes
