Job Title: Conveyancing Manager
Location: Manchester (Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days remote)
Salary: Up to £46,000 DOE
About the Role
Simpson Judge Legal is currently working with a growing and well-established client who is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Manager to join their Manchester-based team.
This role offers a slightly different setup to traditional conveyancing environments, with work generated via banks and asset managers rather than estate agents. This provides a more structured and consistent caseload, without the pressure of business development.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and supporting a team of conveyancers and assistants
Overseeing a caseload of residential property matters (freehold, leasehold and shared ownership)
Monitoring team performance and ensuring files progress efficiently
Providing technical support and mentoring to junior team members
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes
Liaising with clients and key stakeholders
Requirements
Proven experience within residential conveyancing
Previous supervisory experience or a strong senior conveyancer looking to step up
Experience handling freehold, leasehold and shared ownership transactions
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage workloads within a structured environment
