Job Title: PMO (Project Management Office) Lead – Data & AI

Rate: £250-300pd Outside IR35

Length: 3 months rolling

Location: Remote

Role Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven PMO Lead with strong expertise in data and AI to drive strategic initiatives and ensure effective delivery across a portfolio of projects. This role combines traditional project governance with advanced analytics and AI-driven decision-making to enhance performance, transparency, and business outcomes.

Candidates must have recent AI and Data experience in a PMO capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain PMO frameworks, standards, and governance across data and AI projects
• Oversee project portfolios, ensuring alignment with business goals and prioritization of high-impact initiatives
• Leverage data analytics and AI tools to improve forecasting, risk management, and reporting
• Drive performance tracking through KPIs, dashboards, and automated insights
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes using AI and automation
• Manage resource planning, budgeting, and dependency tracking across programs

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in PMO leadership or program management
• Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML concepts
• Experience using data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AI-driven transformation programs
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile)
