Our client is a respected boutique digital studio based in East London, designing and building beautifully crafted websites and digital platforms for leading cultural institutions and brands.
Their work combines thoughtful refined design craft and robust technical delivery all produced in-house by a small, experienced team to create meaningful, hands-on work.
They partner with well-known names across the cultural and arts space, including major galleries, delivering digital experiences where design quality matters just as much as functionality.
As Digital Project Manager, you will sit at the heart of client relationships and project delivery owning projects from brief through to launch while working closely with designers and developers to ensure everything runs smoothly.
This role will particularly suit someone currently in a large agency environment who feels like a small cog in a big machine and is ready for more autonomy, influence and meaningful involvement in the work.
You won’t just manage timelines, you’ll be trusted to shape processes, strengthen relationships and contribute to how the studio operates.
There is genuine freedom to make decisions, improve workflows and add value beyond delivery.
You’ll Be:
- Managing multiple digital projects from brief through to launch
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships
- Writing and maintaining scopes of work, timelines and status reporting
- Managing developers and coordinating closely with designers
- Supporting remote team members across the UK and US
- Navigating CMS-related client queries (Craft CMS or similar)
- Helping refine studio processes and ways of working
- Supporting new business conversations and proposals when needed
- Contributing to case studies, credentials and how the studio presents its work
You:
- It is essential that you have managed a team of developers, and can speak their language and understand digital workflow, budgets and deadlines, with the knowhow to push back and drive the work to delivery.
- Around 5+ years’ experience in a digital agency or boutique studio
- Experience managing multiple external client projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working in small teams without heavy infrastructure
- Strong client-facing skills, confident, calm and able to build trust
- Experience managing developers and technical delivery
- A strong design sensibility, with appreciation for well-crafted digital work
- Self-sufficient, organised and comfortable working with autonomy
- Interest or experience working with cultural, arts, publishing, hospitality or luxury clients is highly beneficial
- Familiarity with Craft CMS or similar platforms is useful but not essential
