Role Overview:
The Senior HR Generalist & Business Partner is part of ELIQUENT’s global Human Resources team. This UK-based role provides strategic HR partnership, operational HR support, and regional recruitment coordination across multiple regions, including Europe, India, and additional geographies as we expand. The position acts as a trusted advisor to regional leaders and HR Business Partners, driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
The Senior HR Generalist & Business Partner is a proactive, independent professional who can balance HRBP-style strategic work with hands-on operational execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with HRBPs and regional leaders to assess organizational needs and develop HR initiatives that support business goals.
- Contribute to workforce planning, talent strategy, leadership capability development, and organizational design discussions.
- Support change management efforts and employee engagement programs across assigned regions.
- Analyze HR data and trends to provide insights and strategic recommendations.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead and coordinate full-cycle recruitment for Europe and additional regions as needed, ensuring timely hiring for 2026 and beyond.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, develop job descriptions, and craft sourcing strategies.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment partners or agencies where appropriate.
- Screen candidates, support interview processes, and ensure consistent, high-quality candidate experience.
- Track hiring progress, maintain recruitment metrics, and support workforce planning discussions.
Operational HR Support
- Support end-to-end HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and HRIS updates.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law, GDPR, and relevant international regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and support regulatory and internal audits.
- Support benefits and compensation activities in the region in partnership with total rewards team.
Employee Relations & Advisory
- Serve as an initial point of contact for employee questions across supported geographies.
- Partner with HRBPs on performance management, conflict resolution, and other ER matters.
- Coach managers on HR policies, best practices, and leadership responsibilities.
Global Coordination & Collaboration
- Collaborate with local teams in Europe, Asia, and other regions to ensure consistent application of policies and practices.
- Support regional leaders with HR-related activities, including workforce planning, recruitment, and organizational changes.
Policy, Process Improvement & Projects
- Support the creation, rollout, and maintenance of global HR policies, SOPs, and toolkits.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Contribute to global HR initiatives, including diversity, engagement, culture programs, and HR technology implementations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8+ years of HR experience, including both strategic advisory and operational HR duties
- Experience managing recruitment processes across multiple countries or regions.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and GDPR compliance.
- Experience in multinational environments and comfort working across time zones
- Proficiency in HR systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Preferred Attributes:
- CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- Exposure to HR practices in EMEA and APAC regions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Salary range for this role is £65,000–£76,000, salary is based upon level of experience.
