Supplier Relationship Manager
Are you an experienced procurement professional with a passion for building strong supplier relationships? We are looking for a Supplier Relationship Manager to join a leading defence and technology organisation focused on delivering critical digital services and solutions. This is a high-impact role where you will play a key part in managing strategic suppliers, enabling service excellence, and driving value across the organisation’s technology portfolios.
What the role offers:
• Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending on experience) + 21% Bonus
• Total Estimated Package: £65,000 – £75,000+
• Working model: Stevenage. Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite with flexibility to balance home working
• Opportunity to influence supplier strategies across software (SaaS, enterprise, engineering & manufacturing), hardware, networks, cyber, and professional services
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to shape supplier relationships and deliver measurable performance improvements
Who we’re looking for:
• Senior experience in Supplier Relationship Management; category management expertise is desirable
• Proven ability to manage and influence suppliers across multiple services, ideally within IT, digital, or other complex service environments
• Strong contract and SLA management skills, with the ability to oversee supplier performance, renewals, and lifecycle governance
• Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to engage with senior internal and external stakeholders, mentor colleagues, and drive positive supplier outcomes
• MCIPS-qualified or working towards it is advantageous
