An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a forward‑thinking organisation that provides expert Health and Safety support to a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a fantastic role for a Health and Safety professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact. You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to promoting safe working environments and high compliance standards across multiple sectors.

The Health and Safety Consultant will be responsible for:

• Managing a portfolio of client accounts, delivering ongoing support and professional Health and Safety advice.
• Conducting risk assessments, audits, and site inspections across client locations.
• Developing and maintaining Health and Safety documentation, including policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
• Delivering engaging Health and Safety training sessions and updates.
• Investigating incidents, preparing reports, and recommending corrective actions.
• Supporting advice line queries and collaborating with colleagues as needed.

The Health and Safety Consultant will have:

• Previous experience working in a Health and Safety consultancy or advisory role.
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety legislation, ISO standards (45001, 9001, 14001), CDM Regulations, and SSIP accreditations.
• NEBOSH General or Construction/ equivalent as a minimum.
• Ideally experience designing and delivering Health and Safety training.
• A CSCS card and access to a vehicle for client visits.
• Excellent communication skills, strong analytical ability, and the capacity to manage multiple projects independently.
