Chief Operating Officer – Large Scale Agriculture & Processing
A rare opportunity to lead one of the region’s most significant integrated agricultural operations.
We are partnering with a large international agribusiness seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to take full operational leadership across its farming operations, grower programmes, mechanised agricultural services, and processing facilities.
The business operates large-scale crop production alongside industrial processing sites, supplying raw material into higher-value manufacturing within the group. Operations span multiple regions and require strong coordination between field teams, engineering, and production management.
This is a highly operational leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to the business — spending time across farms, regional teams, and production facilities to drive performance, discipline, and measurable improvement.
Key focus areas
- Improving crop yields and cost efficiency across large farming operations
- Strengthening grower support and farmer engagement programmes
- Maximising utilisation of machinery, labour, and operational assets
- Ensuring reliable supply from field operations into processing facilities
- Delivering consistent production performance, quality, and cost control
We are looking for someone who brings
- Senior operational leadership experience in large-scale commercial agriculture
- Strong understanding of mechanised farming systems and crop production management
- Experience managing multi-site agricultural and production operations
- Ability to lead teams across different regions, cultures, and operating environments
- A structured, KPI-driven approach to operational improvementExperience working in large farming enterprises with complex land structures, grower networks, and mechanised production systems will be particularly valuable.
This role would suit a hands-on operational leader who is comfortable moving between farms and factories while building strong local management teams and driving performance across the business.
