I’m currently supporting a brilliant engineering team in Worcester who are looking to bring in a Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for automation, robotics, and next‑generation manufacturing technologies.
If you’re someone who loves solving problems, experimenting with new tech, and getting hands-on with real engineering challenges, this is a role where you’ll genuinely make an impact.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering function, working across a mix of established processes and cutting‑edge technologies. Your work will span:
Automation & Robotics
• Troubleshooting and supporting robotic systems on the shop floor
• Optimising robotic operations to boost reliability and efficiency
• Working closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure safe, effective automation
• Driving continuous improvement across automated processes
Dimensional Inspection & Reverse Engineering
• Using advanced measurement tools including 3D laser scanning
• Interpreting scan data for validation and reporting
• Supporting reverse engineering of components, tooling, and processes
• Integrating digital data into design and manufacturing workflows
Additive Manufacturing
• Supporting 3D printing for prototyping, tooling, and process development
Technical Development & Innovation
• Exploring emerging technologies at trade shows and technical events
• Engaging with suppliers and tech partners
• Contributing to technical reviews and engineering projects
• Testing, validating, and implementing new manufacturing technologies
Training & Development
This team invests heavily in technical growth. You’ll have opportunities to develop skills in:
• Industrial robotics programming
• Advanced 3D scanning and inspection
• Reverse engineering and digital modelling
• Additive manufacturing
• Process improvement methodologies
• Project management and engineering review processes
What you’ll bring

• An engineering degree or relevant qualification
