Salary: £36,036 per annum (£18.48 per hour) + Sleep-ins

We are recruiting an experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality care within a children’s residential setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about safeguarding, leadership, and improving outcomes for young people.

Role Overview:

• Support the day-to-day running of the home
• Lead shifts and manage staff performance
• Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance
• Build positive relationships with children and professionals
• Support Ofsted inspections and quality standards
• Promote a nurturing, therapeutic environment

What we’re looking for:

• Level 5 in Leadership & Management (essential)
• Experience in children’s residential care
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted & Children’s Homes Regulations
• Confident leadership and decision-making skills
• Ability to support, develop and motivate a team

Salary & Benefits:

• £36,036 per annum

Working Pattern:

• Mix of shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends
• Minimum one office day per week
• On-call duties (weekends & during manager leave)
• Flexible start/finish times depending on service needs
