In-House Legal Assistant / Paralegal
Hybrid Working | £35,000 | Growing National Housing Company
We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join the in-house legal team of a growing national housing company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working in private practice who is looking to transition in-house and broaden their commercial exposure.
The Role
Working closely with the General Counsel and senior stakeholders across the business, you will support a wide range of legal matters, including:
- Corporate and commercial matters
- Contract drafting, review and negotiation
- Supplier and development agreements
- Dispute resolution and pre-litigation matters
- Legal research and risk analysis
- Maintaining contract management systems and compliance records
This role offers genuine variety and the opportunity to gain insight into strategic decision-making within a fast-growing organisation.
About You
We are particularly interested in candidates who:
- Have experience in Corporate & Commercial, Dispute Resolution or Contracts within private practice
- Have strong drafting and analytical skills
- Are commercially minded and able to communicate effectively with non-legal stakeholders
- Are organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities
- Are seeking to develop a long-term in-house career
