Rural Valuer – East Midlands Leadership Role

Location: Stamford

Are you an experienced Rural Valuer ready to take the next step into a leadership role? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected rural surveying and estate management practice with a strong presence across the UK.

Our client is looking for a driven and commercially minded professional to lead their valuation offering across the East Midlands. This is a pivotal role where you’ll combine hands-on expertise with team leadership, helping shape both people and projects while playing a key part in regional growth.

The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll take ownership of valuation activity across the region, leading a team of valuers, supporting their development, and delivering high-quality work across a diverse portfolio including rural estates, residential assets, and development land.

You’ll have the autonomy to build client relationships, influence strategy, and grow the business, all while maintaining your own varied and interesting workload.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of valuers across the East Midlands
  • Delivering valuations for secured lending, tax, and inheritance purposes
  • Working across a broad mix of rural, residential, and development projects
  • Producing clear, accurate, and high-quality valuation reports
  • Managing valuation systems and portals efficiently
  • Building strong, lasting relationships with clients
  • Identifying and driving new business opportunities in the region

What We’re Looking For

  • RICS-qualified Rural Surveyor with strong post-qualification experience
  • RICS Registered Valuer
  • Proven track record across a variety of valuation instructions
  • Experience leading or mentoring others
  • Strong commercial awareness and sound judgement
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • FAAV qualification (desirable, not essential)
