Role Overview

We are seeking proactive and detail‑oriented Supply Chain Analysts to join our team supporting key Defence & Space operations in the UK. The successful candidates will act as a critical interface between Airbus Defence & Space and end customers, ensuring efficient material availability, smooth order flows, and high‑quality support to operational teams.

These roles require strong analytical capability, solid SAP MM experience, and a commitment to delivering high customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interface & Support

  • Serve as the primary link between Airbus DS and the end customer.
  • Provide customer‑focused support for all material‑related matters.
  • Attend coordination meetings, communicate status updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Order Desk & Demand Management

  • Manage and follow up on spares, AOG, and repair orders.
  • Monitor outstanding backlog, urgent topics, and prioritised demands.
  • Extract, analyse, and report operational KPIs to internal and external stakeholders.

Spare Parts Management

  • Create and update customer orders within SAP MM.
  • Identify and resolve order blockages and discrepancies.
  • Manage RMA processes and ensure timely closure.
  • Support maintenance events and assist in warranty claims.

Repairs & Non‑Routine Activities

  • Create repair notifications within SAP and track progress.
  • Support the resolution of non‑routine issues impacting operations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers as needed.

Export Control & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to UK export control regulations and internal compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and update relevant documentation to support audit readiness.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Extract, validate, and publish KPI dashboards.
  • Support penalty calculations and contract‑related reporting obligations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying trends and proposing corrective actions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • SAP MM proficiency (essential).
  • Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or material management roles.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.
