HGV Technician / Mechanic

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior HGV Technician to join our growing team. The Role
As a Senior HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy goods vehicles to the highest standards. Your work will be essential in ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections
- Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
- Performing repairs on engines, gearboxes, brakes, and electrical systems
- Ensuring all work meets DVSA and company standards
- Completing job cards and documentation accurately
- Supporting MOT preparation and testing
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid HGV licence (desirable but not essential)
