Your Role & Impact
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be the commercial heart of our projects. You will balance post-contract financial control with pre-contract estimating support to ensure our pipeline remains strong and profitable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Management (Primary): Lead budgeting, cost targeting, and expenditure monitoring to ensure every project stays on track.
- Estimating & Tendering: Utilise your estimating background to assist with tenders, helping to prepare competitive bids and accurate cost plans.
- Strategic Procurement: Review and appoint the most suitable subcontractors for the job.
- End-to-End Delivery: Identify variations, submit valuations, and finalise accounts with precision.
- Strategic Advisor: Act as a commercial advisor to our senior directors and project managers.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Technical Balance: A detail-oriented professional who can balance technical accuracy with excellent negotiation skills.
- Credentials: A degree in quantity surveying is preferred.
- Track Record: Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Communication: A natural collaborator who can build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and site operatives alike.
