Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Associate Director / Director to join our Transaction Services team. In this role, you will support a diverse portfolio of clients by delivering high-quality financial due diligence for key strategic events such as acquisitions, divestitures, and capital markets transactions.
You will provide data-driven insights and commercial perspectives to help clients make informed decisions and achieve successful transaction outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Delivery
- Lead financial due diligence engagements across buy-side and sell-side transactions.
- Oversee the day-to-day progress of projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Manage multiple concurrent engagements while prioritizing client and team needs.
- Provide commercial insights and analytical support to evaluate opportunities and risks.
- Maintain strong risk management and oversight throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members to support their growth and performance.
- Provide coaching, performance management, and learning opportunities.
- Support recruitment and talent development initiatives.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advisors, and referral networks.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions.
- Ensure high standards of service delivery across engagements.
Business Development
- Identify and develop new client opportunities and transaction mandates.
- Support pitch preparation, proposals, and presentations.
- Strengthen existing client relationships through structured account management.
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance market presence and brand positioning.
Innovation & Operational Improvement
- Encourage the use of advanced tools, including data analytics, to enhance insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
- Lead initiatives that drive innovation within the team.
Requirements
- Strong experience in transaction services and financial due diligence.
- Proven track record of leading and managing teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong professional networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Sector specialization or industry expertise is an advantage.
- Proactive approach with commitment to professional development.
- ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification or relevant professional experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
