Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives across contingent workforce, staffing, RPO, SOW, and VMS/ATS categories
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on market trends, rate benchmarks, supplier strategies, and regulatory considerations (e.g., IR35, co-employment models)
- Drive commercial and operational excellence in MSP and VMS engagements
- Analyze complex datasets to identify cost optimization and supplier performance improvement opportunities
- Run competitive tenders, evaluate proposals, and negotiate commercial and contractual terms
- Structure and draft contracts aligned to client requirements
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and cross-functional stakeholder groups
- Contribute to category strategy and workforce optimization initiatives
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior sourcing professionals
Profile
- University degree or equivalent qualification
- 8+ years of experience in contingent workforce procurement, MSP/RPO environments, or in-house category management
- Strong knowledge of UK and European staffing markets, commercial models, and compliance frameworks (including IR35)
- Hands-on experience with leading VMS and ATS platforms
- Proven ability to manage complex sourcing initiatives and negotiate high-value agreements
- Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in dynamic, multi-client environments
