Overview:
We’re working on a Senior Employment Lawyer opportunity within a high-performing EMEA legal team supporting a global, fast-paced financial services business. This is a broad and hands-on role, partnering closely with HR and senior stakeholders across the region on a wide range of employment law matters.
Key areas include:
- Drafting and negotiating employment contracts and settlement agreements
- Advising on disciplinary, grievance, discrimination, TUPE, and restrictive covenant matters
- Supporting HR and Employee Relations teams with day-to-day legal queries
- Assisting with employment litigation and dispute resolution
- Managing cross-border employment matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Working with external counsel where required
- Delivering training to HR and internal stakeholders
- Building strong relationships across the business at all levels
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent)
- Strong background in employment law (private practice and/or in-house)
- Experience in a commercial, fast-paced environment
- Confident advising senior stakeholders
- Strong drafting, communication, and analytical skills
- Commercially minded, pragmatic, and solutions-focused approach
