Director of Business Development

Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical company and they are looking for a Director of Business Development.

The role will be based in London, UK and will report into the Chief Corporate Development Officer.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead the in-licensing, out-licensing and partnership strategy, shaping the BD roadmap and portfolio in line with long-term growth priorities
• Own identification, evaluation and execution of high-value BD opportunities across Europe, including business cases, financial modelling and risk/return assessment
• Act as deal lead on major transactions, chairing cross-functional work streams and overseeing due diligence, contract negotiation and asset integration
• Advise the Corporate Development team, Executive Committee and Board on strategic options and investment decisions, providing clear recommendations and insight
• Represent our client externally as a senior corporate ambassador, building executive-level relationships and positioning the company as a partner of choice in the European Generics / Generics-Plus market
