About the Company

We are Working with an ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a passionate and skilled Science Teacher to join its thriving Science department. This is an excellent opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners to contribute to a high-achieving and supportive environment.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Teach a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (KS5 available for suitable candidates)
  • Assess and track student progress, ensuring all learners reach their potential
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Contribute to enrichment activities such as STEM clubs or trips

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in a Science-related subject

Required Skills

  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science education
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

Preferred Skills

  • Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level
  • Ability to teach across all three sciences at KS3
  • Passion for practical and investigative science

Pay range and compensation package

Salary: £36,745 – £56,959 (MPS/UPS – Inner London)

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Start Date: September 2026 (or earlier if available)
