A leading specialty lines Insurer are searching for a Legal Counsel to join their team in London.
You will be responsible for:
Negotiating Insurance distribution agreements
Agreeing general commercial contracts
Advising underwriters on coverage and wordings
Advising the Claims teams on coverage queries and pre litigation matters
Ad hoc project work impacting the global organisation
You will be:
UK qualified Lawyer (or common Law) c. 2-5 years PQE
Experienced in the UK insurance market – Ideally with some exposure to the Lloyd’s market
Either coming from an Insurance (corporate or litigation) practice in a Law firm, or from another Insurer/Reinsurer in an in-house Legal role.
