Full-Time Position
Location: North West London
Salary: £38,500 per year
Schedule: 5 days per week, 8.5 hours per day including weekends
The Role
This is not a traditional café manager position.
The Coffee Bar & Terrace is being developed into a fully structured, high-performing business unit. We are looking for an operations-focused leader who can take ownership of this space—bringing discipline, commercial awareness, and clarity to how it runs and grows.
You will lead the Coffee Bar, Terrace and Grab & Go operations, while working closely with the Kitchen and Deli teams to improve flow, product alignment, and overall performance.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Operational Leadership
- Lead day-to-day service across Coffee Bar, Terrace and Grab & Go
- Create a structured, calm, and efficient service environment
- Ensure clarity of roles, strong execution, and consistency under pressure
Systems & Performance
- Build and implement clear SOPs (service, opening/closing, stock handling)
- Track and improve key metrics: sales, waste, labour efficiency, queue time
- Turn daily operations into repeatable, scalable systems
Commercial Ownership
- Drive revenue through better flow, upselling, and product positioning
- Identify opportunities to improve average spend and reduce waste
- Take accountability for performance—not just service
Team Development
- Train and support a small, focused team
- Build capability, discipline, and autonomy
- Set clear expectations and raise standards consistently
Product & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Kitchen on desserts, pastries, and seasonal items
- Align Coffee Bar offering with production capacity and demand
- Contribute ideas that improve both customer experience and margin
What We’re Looking For

- Enjoys building structure and improving how things work
- Is comfortable working with numbers, performance metrics, and accountability
- Has a strong sense of ownership and commercial awareness
- Can lead people with clarity, calmness, and consistency
Experience in premium café, food retail, or high-quality casual dining environments is preferred.

- Real scope to shape, improve, and build something—not just maintain it
- A clear step toward senior operational leadership
