Hartmann Young are partnered with a leading CRO in early-phase clinical trials to appoint a senior leader to own and optimise participant recruitment and engagement across a global portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end participant lifecycle: identification, attraction, enrolment, retention
- Deliver recruitment targets on time and within budget across multiple studies
- Own and track KPIs, forecasting, and participant flow metrics (incl. screening failures)
- Drive continuous improvement across recruitment strategy, processes, and systems
- Lead and develop cross-functional teams in a high-performance environment
- Oversee recruitment platforms, CRM, and data-driven decision making
- Ensure compliance with GCP, GDPR, and regulatory standards
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships (incl. NHS, NIHR, KOLs)
- Own recruitment budgets and contribute to commercial delivery
Requirements:
- Significant experience in clinical trial recruitment (CRO preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Proven ability to deliver against recruitment targets and KPIs
- Experience working with NHS sites and external partners
- Solid understanding of clinical research regulations (GCP)
- Background in Life Sciences or related field
