Associate – Investment Banking (Energy Transition)

TGRC has partnered with a specialist investment bank focused on the energy transition and infrastructure sectors, advising developers, infrastructure funds, utilities and strategic investors on M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory mandates globally. Due to increasing activity across the German and Nordic markets, the firm is looking to strengthen its language capability to support a growing pipeline of cross-border transactions.

You will play a key role in execution and client delivery across energy transition and infrastructure mandates, with a particular focus on German or Nordic transactions.

The Role

• Lead and support financial modelling for live M&A and capital raising transactions
• Build and review complex financial models (project finance, infrastructure, renewables platforms)
• Prepare high-quality investor materials, pitch books and transaction documentation (PowerPoint heavy)
• Support due diligence, valuation analysis and transaction structuring
• Participate in client calls and meetings (including transactions in German or Nordic languages)
• Work closely with Partners on origination and business development initiatives
• Coordinate junior team members where relevant

Your Profile

• Fluency in German or in a Nordic language (native or professional working proficiency)
• 2–4+ years’ experience in Investment Banking or M&A
• Strong financial modelling capability (this will be formally tested)
• Experience in renewables, energy transition or infrastructure
• Excellent PowerPoint / investment presentation skills
• Strong commercial judgment and attention to detail
