Sir Robert McAlpine have been appointed as ConstructionManager on Therme Manchester, the UK’s first urban wellbeing resortvalued at over £450m.
Therme will combine thelargest thermal pool complex in Europe under one roof, indoor andoutdoor, botanical gardens, and immersive art, creating aworld-class environment focused on wellbeing. There will also bemore than 25 water slides, the largest sauna area in the UK,multiple steam rooms, and a wave pool for children andfamilies.

The Project Manager Role
As the ProjectManager you will report to the Regional Manager and youwill be responsible for multiple client relationships acrossmultiple sites. You will have full ownership, responsibility andaccountability commencing at the pre-construction phase through tosuccessful project delivery.
YourProfile
You will be educated todegree level and you will have a strong track record of leadingteams and successfully delivering those projects. It is essentialyou have a good knowledge and understanding of appropriate forms ofcontract such as; NEC and Construction Management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalentexperience
- Strong business acumen in projectplanning and management
- Strong verbal,written, and organisational skills
- Experiencemanaging externals and landscaping on large projects isdesirable
