Fire & Security Service Engineer
South of England + UK Travel35,000 – 45,000 + Overtime + On Call (50,000 – 60,000 OTE)
The Opportunity
We’re supporting a growing Fire & Security business delivering service and maintenance across commercial sites nationwide.
They’re now looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join the team, working across a mix of fire alarms and electronic security systems.
This is a solid, long-term role with strong earning potential and clear progression.
The Role
A Monday to Friday position focused on service, maintenance and fault finding, working across a variety of commercial environments.
There is also an on call rota (1 in 6), with additional pay.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems* Servicing CCTV, access control and intruder systems* Fault finding and carrying out small remedial works* Attending commercial client sites* Occasional travel and nights away when required
What We’re Looking For
* Experience servicing fire and or security systems* Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills* Comfortable working independently in the field* Willing to be part of an on call rota* Full UK driving licence
What’s On Offer
* 35,000 – 45,000 basic salary* 50,000 – 60,000 OTE with overtime and on call* Time and a half after 8 hours per day* Paid travel time minus 30 minutes each way* On call rota 1 in 6 with additional pay* Company van, tools and laptop provided* Clear progression opportunities
