Sales Coordinator Location: Leeds (Site Based) Salary: 30,000
A well established UK manufacturing and engineering business, supplying specialist components and solutions into industrial and commercial markets, is looking to appoint a Sales Coordinator to support its growing commercial function.
This is a key role within the Customer Service and Pricing team, acting as the link between customers, internal departments, and the external sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
The Role
Working closely with Sales, Technical, and Operations teams, you will play a central role in managing customer enquiries, producing quotations, and supporting account activity.
Your responsibilities will include: Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and digital channels in a timely and professional manner. Producing and issuing quotations using internal systems. Supporting the external sales team with account queries and customer requests. Managing inbound enquiries and allocating them to the relevant Account Managers. Handling customer complaints, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally. Providing accurate product, pricing, and order information to customers. Managing vacant accounts, including quoting and order processing. Maintaining and updating CRM systems (Salesforce). Working cross functionally with Technical and Operations teams to ensure service delivery.
What You Will Bring Previous experience in a customer service, internal sales, or sales support role. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Confidence working in a fast paced, high volume environment. Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines under pressure. A proactive and team focused approach.
Desirable: Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce. Background in manufacturing, engineering, or technical products.
