Job Description:

RF Engineer Contractor | 3 Months | Outside IR35 |Full-time, Onsite | North CambridgeI am currently recruiting for a market leader in the field of critical communications. Their focus is on providing high quality products to a demanding, mission critical client base, which includes the police, paramedics, sea rescue, major airports, large mining facilities and utilities or oil and gas plants located in hazardous environments.

We are looking for a couple of RF Engineers to join the team, who have been have been developing comprehensive TETRA and LTE solutions tailored for users across multiple sectors to address their critical communication needs. You will be responsible for:

  • Technical design and specification of RF circuitry for radio terminal products:
  • Complete subsystem design and implementation
  • Integration with Baseband, Audio and MMI subsystems
  • Component specification and sourcing
  • Design test documentation
  • Schematic creation and PCB layout supervision
  • Technical requirements analysis
  • Resolutions of design and integration issues
  • Type approval support

Key Skills Needed:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in RF design and development, ideally within the telecommunications or critical communications industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of RF systems and technologies, including design, simulation, and testing.
  • Proven hands-on design experience.
  • Strong time management and communication skills, with a history of delivering projects or tasks on time and with high quality.

This contract will be a 3-month rolling contract and is Outside IR35, offering an hourly rate between 65-75p/h. This role is full-time, onsite with potential flexibility for 4 days onsite.
