Client Name: NHS Ayrshire & Arran
Role: Locum Consultant in Adult Psychiatry
Rates: 100 – 125 per hour (PAYE)
Shifts: Ideally 3-4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and / or Fridays)
Location: Ailsa Hospital
Consultant or experienced SAS doctor (section 22 approved) to undertake inpatient and community role in South Ayrshire – based at Ayr (Ailsa hospital) Ideally 3-4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and / or Fridays) No on-call requirements Ward review twice a week 2 OPCs Potential extension after the 3 months.

What We’re Looking For
Essential
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- MRCPsych or FRCPsych or equivalent
- Full GMC registration with entry on the Specialist Registration for Psychiatry
- S22 Approval status in place
- S12 Approval status in place
- Approved Clinician (AC)
- A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check – or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
- UK Right to Work
