Full job description Field Service Engineer (Mechanical) Liverpool
£35,000 – £40,000 + Overtime (1.5x) + Van + Training + Progression Are you a mechanically skilled Engineer with experience in field service, maintenance, or similar environments, looking for a stable role with a growing, family-run company offering training and progression? In this role, you will carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on a range of equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and provide excellent customer service while working independently across your local patch.
This role would suit a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Mobile Engineer with strong mechanical skills, looking for a hands-on role with overtime, training, and progression into supervisory positions.
The Role
- Service, maintain, and repair equipment on-site
- Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs
- Travel to customer sites across the North West region
- Complete service reports and maintain high service standards
- Field-based role (Liverpool patch)
The Person
- Mechanical engineering background (NVQ Level 3 preferred)
- Experience in field service, plant, automotive, or similar
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence required)
