I am currently working with a growing and well-structured legal team who are looking to appoint Conveyancers into their Manchester office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive environment with clear processes and a strong focus on client service.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and compliant conveyancing service within a busy and process-driven team, handling a varied caseload from instruction through to completion.
The role sits within a fast-paced environment, so strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage workload effectively are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of freehold and leasehold transactions from instruction to completion
- Verifying legal titles and identifying any potential title or property issues
- Ensuring files are run efficiently with high levels of accuracy and compliance
- Maintaining up-to-date task lists and ensuring deadlines are met
- Handling stakeholder communication confidently, including more complex or sensitive conversations
- Ensuring all regulatory requirements are adhered to, including AML and data protection
- Maintaining accurate file records and document management systems
- Identifying and escalating any issues where appropriate
- Supporting wider team objectives, KPIs, and service delivery
The Candidate
The firm is keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous experience within residential conveyancing or a conveyancing environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence working both independently and within a team
- A proactive and positive approach to work
Desirable:
- Legal qualification (LLB/SQE or equivalent)
- Experience using case management systems (e.g. Visual Files or similar)
- Exposure to mortgage recoveries or volume conveyancing environments
