Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Fire and Security Engineer located in Derby. The Fire and Security Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing fire and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV systems, access control, and intruder alarms. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting system issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing excellent customer service to clients. They will coordinate with the team to deliver timely, professional, and effective security solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Security Engineering and Information Security practices
- Knowledge of Application Security and Network Security processes and protocols
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity policies and industry standards
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and maintaining fire and security systems
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in fire and security systems are highly desirable
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel for on‑site work when required
