We are partnered with a business who are looking for a Salesforce Lead Developer, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering scalable, high-impact solutions on the Salesforce platform.
What you’ll be doing
- Architect and deliver robust Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and modern integration approaches
- Turn business requirements into scalable, well-structured technical designs aligned with Salesforce best practices
- Lead the full development lifecycle — from initial build through testing, deployment, and ongoing optimisation
- Design, build, and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware
- Drive performance, security, and data integrity improvements across the platform
- Act as a technical leader within the team, providing mentorship, guidance, and code reviews
- Work closely with Salesforce Administrators to ensure seamless alignment between configuration and custom development
- Contribute to release processes, CI/CD pipelines, and environment strategy
- Stay ahead of platform updates and bring new ideas, tools, and innovations into the team
- Troubleshoot complex issues and act as an escalation point for critical incidents and enhancements
About you
- Strong track record of delivering Salesforce solutions in complex, enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in Apex
- Advanced experience building Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Solid understanding of SOQL/SOSL and integration patterns across the Salesforce ecosystem
- Strong grasp of data modelling, platform security, and governor limits
- Experience with version control (e.g. Git) and CI/CD tooling such as Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps
- Proven delivery experience within Agile teams and fast-paced environments
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
- Structured, analytical approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail
- Confidence leading technical conversations and influencing architectural decisions
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
