IT Support Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (DOE)

Clearance eligibility: British Passport Holder with 10+ years of UK residency required

We are recruiting on behalf of a technology consulting firm that specializes in assuring the UK's National Infrastructure. You will be joining a high-performing team where your growth is a priority, transitioning from an IT Support focus toward a Junior Infrastructure Engineer pathway. As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide essential 1st and 2nd line support while gaining deep exposure to the Microsoft ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• M365 Administration: Managing Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID.
• Cloud Operations: Supporting Azure fundamentals, including VMs, networking, and storage.
• Security & Compliance: Utilizing Intune for endpoint management and implementing Defender and Conditional Access policies.
• Automation: Using PowerShell to script routine tasks and improve efficiency.
• Infrastructure: Troubleshooting networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN) and hardware issues.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in M365 and Azure environments.
• A functional understanding of PowerShell for automation.
• Familiarity with modern security tooling (Defender/Purview).
• A genuine desire to pursue Microsoft certifications (AZ-900, MS-900, SC-900) which the company will actively support.
