RD&T Software Engineer

If so, a market leader is currently looking for an RD&T Software Engineer on an Outside IR35 contract basis!

Location: Leamington SpaContract: Outside IR35 (day rate)Working Days: Monday to Friday (Days)

Job Description

• Develop and maintain software tools for tolerance analysis, variation simulation, and robust design, enabling engineers to evaluate product performance under real-world variability.
• Implement statistical models and algorithms (e.g., Monte Carlo simulation, Design of Experiments) to analyse variation, predict risk, and support data-driven design decisions.
• Integrate RD&T solutions with CAD and PLM systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality engineering to translate requirements into scalable and user-friendly software solutions.
• Create data visualisations and reporting tools to communicate analysis results, highlight key risks, and support robust design practices across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with RD&T Technology.
• Manufacturing environment experience (automotive is advantageous).
