  • Develop robust financial models, forecasts and cash‑flow projections at both project level (individual events and initiatives) and business / operational level (group‑wide performance, overheads and strategic planning)
  • Partner with project leads and senior management to provide commercial insight on events, and to improve financial visibility, cost control and decision‑making
  • Work closely with the finance team and play an integral, hands‑on role during the month‑end close process, ensuring alignment between management reporting and financial results
  • Produce monthly management reporting, variance analysis and performance packs for leadership
  • Produce high‑quality board and senior management packs on financial and commercial performance, providing clear insight, analysis and recommendations
  • Improve data quality, systems, and financial processes as the business scales
  • Act as a key bridge between finance, operations and senior leadership

  • Robust understanding of accounting principles, with the ability to apply them in a commercial, fast‑paced environment
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical skills
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to communicate clearly with non‑finance stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI / reporting tools is a plus, and confident working hands‑on with accounting and financial systems
  • Experience in media, sports, events, entertainment or project‑based businesses is beneficial but not essential
  • Self‑starter with a “builder” mindset who enjoys creating structure and improving how things work
  • Experience working in a start‑up or high‑growth environment is desirable, with the ability to work autonomously and drive continuous improvement
  • Experience and/or interest in sports, events, entertainment or project‑based businesses is beneficial but not essential
