Overview
Marketing and Business Development Manager at a top ranked global law firm, focusing on FinTech and Digital Assets / Blockchain offering. Full mix role with an events focus. An award-winning law firm recognised for its top tier work across the financial sector is recruiting a Business Development and Marketing Manager role within their Financial Institutions team. The role will take the lead on their BD strategy for FinTech, Digital Assets and Blockchains, working with an entrepreneurial group of partners.
Key responsibilities
- Develop BD plans for the groups in collaboration with the lead partners;
- Manage the partnerships with two big industry bodies within the FinTech space;
- Host the Digital Assets and Blockchain summit, in collaboration with the events team;
- Manage a range of events in collaboration with industry bodies;
- Stay commercially up to date, and identify cross selling opportunities;
- Support the process of the Fintech mentor programme (accelerator programme);
- Whilst pitching is light in the role, the BD Manager will provide information and credentials to the pitch team as needed.
Candidate profile / Qualifications
The firm is looking for an experienced and credible BD Manager, ideally with knowledge or interest in the FinTech space. Experience in legal would be ideal, but candidates from comparable global professional services environments will be considered. Candidates need strong event management skills, and client facing experience would be beneficial.
