Role Responsibilities
Installing and commissioning a wide range of water treatment equipment for commercial and industrial clients. Ensuring that all installations are completed in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
Operating and monitoring water treatment systems: operating equipment, monitoring treatment processes, and ensuring systems meet contractual requirements for water volume and quality.
Troubleshooting and problem solving: identifying and resolving issues with water treatment systems, often in coordination with line managers and technical support.
Maintenance and preventative measures: managing consumable inventories, performing preventative maintenance programmes, and ensuring system reliability.
Customer interaction: managing relationships with customers, plant operatives, and other field service engineers.
Record keeping: maintaining accurate daily records of activities, including test results and maintenance logs.
Emergency response: acting swiftly to address equipment failures, leaks, and other water-related issues, minimising disruption.
Regulatory compliance: ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines, including those related to water supply and safety.
Travel and flexibility: the role often involves travel to different sites, potentially both nationally and internationally.
Ad hoc duties: from time to time completing tasks for other identities within the MES Engineering team to help reach targets.
