Role Description
We are seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer for a full-time, on-site role located in Corby. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and managing electrical installations, conducting maintenance and inspections, performing fault diagnosis, and handling ATEX inspections. Additional responsibilities include installing EV charging systems, carrying out testing and inspection tasks, and helping with machinery clearances and relocations. This role involves working closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Electrical installation skills, including experience with wiring, schematic interpretation, and electrical system assembly
- Strong background in testing, inspection processes, and electrical maintenance
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and processes for fault finding and thermal imaging
- Experience with ATEX inspections and compliance with relevant safety standards
- Understanding of EV charging installations and related electrical requirements
- Ability to manage equipment clearances and relocations
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety
- Formal technical qualifications such as an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
