Service Engineer

Are you a hands-on Service Engineer with a passion for keeping high-spec packaging machinery running at peak performance?

Due to continued growth and increasing demand for customised solutions, we’re expanding our Customer Care team and looking for a talented Service Engineer to join us in Sandy, Bedfordshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for two types of candidates:

• ✅ Experienced Service Engineers who already handle both mechanical/electrical servicing and software (Siemens/Allen Bradley) – you’ll hit the ground running with installations, breakdowns, and production line integrations.
• ✅ Strong Mechanical/Electrical Engineers with solid fault-finding skills who may have limited software experience – if you’re eager to learn and develop in Siemens/Allen Bradley programming, we’ll support your training and development.

What you’ll be doing:

• Installing, commissioning, and upgrading our world-class auger-based filling machines and full production lines at customer sites across the UK and overseas
• Fault finding and resolving breakdowns (both mechanical/electrical and software)
• Writing, debugging, and commissioning software for production line integrations
• Providing remote diagnostics, telephone/email technical support, and training to customers
• Completing quality documentation, test plans, and validation records
• Working closely with our spares team and in-house engineering to continuously improve our machines

You’ll report directly to the Technical Director and play a key role in ensuring our customers achieve maximum uptime and performance from their All-Fill equipment.

What we’re looking for:

• Recognised qualification in Electronic/Electrical/Control Engineering (BTEC HNC or equivalent)
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering background with experience fault-finding on industrial machinery
• Valid UK driving licence and passport (willing to travel UK & overseas)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative

Highly desirable:

• 5+ years’ experience servicing and fault-finding packaging or similar machinery
• Experience with Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC software (programming, debugging, commissioning)
• Electrical certification for 3-phase installations
• Background in commissioning packaging lines and completing validation documentation
