Meredith’s Maids is a professional cleaning company delivering high-quality, reliable services across a wide range of commercial environments.
We specialise in securing and managing larger-scale contracts, including:
- Commercial property management companies
- Office buildings
- GP practices
- Schools and educational facilities
Currently operating across Greater Manchester and Lancashire, we have ambitious plans to expand nationwide. A key focus area is London, where we already have contractor relationships in place and are looking to significantly grow our presence.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead our B2B growth and secure high-value commercial contracts across the UK.
This is a newly created role within a small but ambitious business, offering the opportunity to play a key part in our 2–5 year growth strategy.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and winning new business. This role requires a proactive self-starter who can take ownership and deliver results independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and secure new B2B opportunities
- Build and manage a pipeline of high-value prospects
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Lead negotiations and close large-scale commercial contracts
- Support expansion across the UK, with a focus on London
- Work closely with leadership to achieve growth targets
- High targets and a target led role
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B business development or sales
- Strong negotiation, communication, and closing skills
- Experience securing large-scale commercial contracts
- Highly self‑motivated, target‑driven, and results‑focused
- Ability to work independently in a growing business environment
- Experience in the cleaning, facilities management, or service sector is desirable
