We are seeking an exceptional Sales & Business Development Manager to join our newly established Growth & Development department.

This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a sales function from the ground up within a mission-driven organisation that is rapidly scaling—doubling its revenue while staying true to its values.

As one of the first hires in this new team, you will have significant autonomy to shape strategy, build a high-performing sales team, and drive revenue growth across a diverse product portfolio. Working directly with the Director of Growth & Development, you will play a pivotal role in our growth journey.

This role is ideal for a commercially-minded sales professional who wants to combine business success with social impact—in an organisation that measures success not just in revenue, but in lives transformed.

The Role:

Revenue Generation – You will own all sales activity across our product portfolio, driving both B2B and B2C strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets.

  • Lead sales for courses delivered in Africa and Asia (targeting educational institutions, NGOs, and corporate partners)
  • Drive sales of existing products
  • Develop and execute commercial growth plans
  • Identify and close high-value strategic partnerships

Sales Team Leadership – You will build and lead a high-performing, values-driven sales team.

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a growing team
  • Set clear targets and manage performance through weekly 1:1s
  • Create sales playbooks, scripts, and training materials
  • Foster a high-energy, accountable team culture
  • Participate in weekly Level 10 Meetings™ (EOS framework)

Pipeline Management – You will own and optimise the entire sales funnel.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of 100+ qualified leads monthly
  • Implement and manage CRM systems
  • Track, forecast, and report on performance metrics
  • Scale pipeline value from £500k to £2.5m+

Commercial Strategy – You will shape pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.

  • Develop pricing strategies across all products
  • Create compelling sales collateral and proposals
  • Negotiate contracts and partnership agreements
  • Design commercially sustainable models
  • Collaborate with product and innovation teams
  • Deliver 35%+ gross margins and secure 3+ new partnerships annually

Customer Success – You will build long-term relationships that drive retention and growth.

  • Manage key accounts and partnerships
  • Develop upselling and cross-selling strategies
  • Gather insights to inform product development
  • Generate repeat revenue and case studies
  • Sales Excellence – You are a natural closer who can build rapport, identify needs, and negotiate win-win agreements
