About The Role
As a Project Manager within the Product Delivery Team, you will be responsible for delivering projects that support business and system change. You will lead initiatives from inception through to delivery, driving improvements to processes and systems and ensuring changes are embedded into the business in a controlled and sustainable way.
This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with attention to detail, adapt to evolving priorities, and work confidently across projects of varying complexity and size.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource schedules.
- Lead project initiation and inception through to delivery in line with the Project Handbook.
- Define and agree project scope, deliverables, timelines, quality measures, costs, and benefits to support clear and robust business cases.
- Establish and manage effective project governance, structures and teams.
- Plan, manage, monitor, and report on project progress, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales, quality and cost.
- Manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies through effective RAID logs and mitigation plans.
- Conduct ongoing risk assessment and proactively address delivery challenges.
- Coordinate and motivate cross-functional and sometimes geographically disparate teams.
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
Key Requirements
- Full lifecycle project management experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity.
- Experience delivering both business change and IT-focused projects.
- Strong planning, risk management, and organisational skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and effective communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
- Confidence in driving and managing dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Resilient, adaptable and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment.
Technical Experience
- Skilled in Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Strong understanding of delivery practices, including CI/CD.
- PRINCE2 or APM certification.
