Job Title : Business Systems & Data Analyst

Job Location: York or East Kilbride Job Salary: Up to £50,000 + benefits Hybrid Working Available

A leading organisation is seeking a talented Business Systems and   Data Analyst to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an analytical, commercially minded individual to play a key role in strengthening business intelligence across a diverse and fast‑paced group environment.

The Business Systems & Data Analyst will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy, quality, and usability of core business systems, including Zoho, ERP, and P4. This role combines data management, system optimisation, workflow development, and cross‑team collaboration. The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity across platforms, enhance user experience through effective dashboards and UI improvements, and support the Sales Administration team by improving lead and pricing processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Management & Integrity

  • Clean, validate, and input supplier pricing data across Zoho and the ERP system.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across multiple platforms.
  • Monitor cross‑system data flows to ensure information remains aligned and synchronised.

2. System Integration & Maintenance

  • Support cross‑platform integration between Zoho, ERP, P4, and other business tools.
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies and workflow issues across systems.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining data structures, fields, and system configurations.

3. User Experience & Dashboard Development

  • Design and maintain dashboards within Zoho and P4 to provide clear, actionable insights for operational teams.
  • Enhance user experience across systems by simplifying interfaces and improving data accessibility.
  • Ensure dashboards meet the needs of Sales Admin, management, and other stakeholders.

4. Workflow Automation & UI Enhancements

  • Develop and optimise system workflows to streamline day‑to‑day business operations.
  • Create UI improvements that reduce manual work, improve lead handling, and support efficient system usage.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and recommend system-driven automation solutions.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Sales Administration team to understand lead management, quoting, and pricing processes.
  • Serve as a collaborative partner providing support, training, and continuous system improvement.
  • Communicate technical insights in clear, accessible language for non‑technical users.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience working with business systems such as Zoho CRM and ERP platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to design dashboards and build workflows in low‑code/no‑code environments.
  • Understanding of customer lead journeys and core business processes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, especially when supporting non‑technical teams.

Desirable

  • Experience with P4 or similar operations systems.
  • Familiarity with integrations, data mapping, or API-driven connections (conceptual understanding is sufficient).
  • Knowledge of process optimisation, system UX improvements, or business analysis.
