Services Clerk of Works

Hays are delighted to be working on some fantastic contract opportunities for experienced Building Fabric Clerk of Works across Glasgow & the West of Scotland, with contract lengths starting at 6+ months. Hays are recruiting on behalf of a large organisation who have over 30M projects to deliver, all of which require a fabric Clerk of Works. You will be responsible for supervising multiple sites at any given time, most likely on minor works projects across the education & corporate property estate, ranging from 30k – 7m per project. Applications from candidates with significant construction experience, such as Site Management / Foreman, are welcomed, as well as Clerk of Works with MICWCI. Projects will vary in size, stages and complexity, so a construction professional with good ‘all-round’ experience would be beneficial. Projects will range from defects, demolitions, roofing & rendering, kitchen & bathroom installation, EWI refurbishments, as well as new-build major projects across education, commercial and housing sectors. Applicants must have a clean UK driving licence for each of these positions and preferably access to your own car. Rates are negotiable depending on experience, but will be in the region of 22-24ph PAYE.
