These positions are temporary. Salary will be pro-rated for part-time hours. Minimum one year contractWorking hours are 6 hours per day Mon – Fri between the hours of 8am and 6pm Extended Year Contract i.e. NOT Term-time Would you like to come and work in one of our Early Years Centres and gain a qualification as you do so?   We are offering applicants the opportunity to work as an Early Years Support Worker and gain valuable “on the job” knowledge and experience in supporting children’s learning and development.  You will be required to complete an SVQ3 Social Services Children and Young People qualification with the support of a workplace mentor and college tutor.  Once qualified, you will be able to apply for Early Years Worker positions and continue on your early years career journey. Early Years Support Worker Job Role You will be required to work as part of a team that supports the development of high quality early years services for children and families. You will assist the Early Years Workers to provide children with a range of appropriate experiences and learning opportunities suitable for their age and stage of development within the context of local and national curriculum guidance and care standards. You will support the Early Years Workers to create a safe, caring, stimulating and inclusive environment for parents and families. You will provide assistance and support to children with additional support needs, to overcome barriers to learning and participation.
