Registered Manager Stafford We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a regulated children’s residential service in Stafford. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for safeguarding, quality, compliance, and service delivery within a highly regulated environment. You will provide strong operational and strategic leadership, ensuring positive outcomes for children and young people while maintaining Ofsted compliance and driving continuous improvement.
Lead the day-to-day operation of a children’s residential service Act as the Ofsted Registered Manager Ensure services meet Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards Lead safeguarding practice, risk management, and care planning Manage staff recruitment, supervision, appraisals, and rotas Work closely with multi-disciplinary professionals and commissioning authorities Manage budgets and maintain inspection-ready documentation Lead the service through inspections and regulatory scrutiny
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or Children & Young People), or eligible and committed to complete Eligible to register with Ofsted Significant management experience within a regulated children’s residential setting Strong safeguarding knowledge and leadership capability Confident managing teams, inspections, and complex needs Experience opening, stabilising, or improving a regulated children’s service History of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes Opportunity to lead and shape a high-quality service Supportive organisation with a strong focus on safeguarding and outcomes Long-term career progression
