Primary School Support Worker (Fixed Term until 30 June 2027) – PKC13638£17,669 – £18,614 (27.5 Hours per week, Term-time only) In this Primary School Support Worker role, you will be responsible for supporting children and young people who have additional support needs to access the curriculum under the direction of teachers and senior leaders, this would also include supporting positive behaviour management and contributing to personal learning plans. Other support may involve active learning, assisting pupils with intimate care routines when required, and supervising pupils in the playground or out of school events or activities. Sensitivity is also required when dealing with any care routines and to respect confidentiality at all times. The role is varied and rewarding with the opportunity to work on a one to one basis with children. The post may include supervising children during break times along with the rest of our Pupil Support Team. Ideally you will have experience of supporting children but training can be provided. The role will be working across a number or primary classes with a range of pupils and pupil groups.
